Block printing is a multi step dying and printing process, made entirely by hand. Hand carved wooden blocks are dipped in ink, then pressed repeatedly onto cotton fabric creating stunning and intricate designs in vivid colors. Variation in color and small imperfections are considered a characteristic, not flaws.
