Tonic, the scent of yuzu is more complex than a lemon note, more incisive than orange, and above all more exotic. Its fragrance naturally calls for a summery freshness, a tangy character and zesty green accents. The yuzu reveals a few discreet tea scents, a refined white flower petal note and a light musk veil.
Cultivated and celebrated in Japan and in Korea, yuzu holds an important place in oriental culture. Often called "Japanese lemon", this citrus fruit belongs to the Rutaceae family. Reminiscent of the lemon, its taste is a blend of lime, yellow mandarin and orange.
For centuries, Yuzu has been used in traditional medicine for its many benefits. It is known for:

Never leave a lit candle unattended, and do not burn one for more than 2 hours at a time. Always burn a candle until the entire surface liquifies, and allow it to solidify before re-lighting. Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch at all times, to avoid any black smoke. Gently re-position the wick while the wax is still molten. Always protect the surface on which the candle rests. Once only ¼ inch of wax remains, blow out the candle and let it fully cool before safely discarding it.
